why are you here?

lately been really busy with the preparations for the upcoming road show @ suntec city next week. mind is full of nothing but work. can hardly relax at all. been waking up at least once during the night. sigh... is it a sign of stress?

read from a fren's blog about this new book entitled "why are you here cafe". it talks about life and how we ought to view life from different perspectives. i'm still in the midst of it...prob will comment more about it when i'm done.

a colleague who saw me buy the book commented that i ought to find a partner soon. said no point reading to find out more about life. instead should go and experience life itself. said i'm prob too bored and need more excitment so finding a partner will be just the thing i need. personally, she may be half right but i felt that finding a partner doesn't mean things will go all smooth sailing from there on. it ain't ez maintaining a r/ship.

during the late afternoon, i skipped the i car test drive event @ 1 rochester park. gave the reason that i was busy and it's true. had to tie up some loose ends for the roadshow. i dun enjoy attending such events...not a very PR / social person. which is very very odd for a marketing person ... hahahahaa....

borrowed 6 self help / non fiction books from the lib. they doubled the loan for a limited period. too bad this wkend's gonna be pretty busy, else i can drown myself in the books.
