just heard over the channel i news about a bomb hoax in holland village. tonight is thanksgiving so a lot of people feel that terrorists would attack places where there would be a lot of ang mohs gathering.....one example would be holland village. talking about bomb hoax, i was surprised to see a traffic jam in the changi air freight centre on my way out in the public bus. apparently there're spot checks for outgoing vehicles. usually there's no such checks so early in the evening. it's the first time i've seen such a thing happening.

cars, vans and trucks had to open up their boots or containers to allow police to take quick checks. kinda scary.....hopefully nothing ever happens around this area. it's very very very close to the airport.......
