the 37th NDP is fantastic !!! my friends and i were near the national stadium watching the fireworks. we couldn't get tickets to get into the stadium so we hung around outside. many people were doing the same thing. some of them had their cameras aimed at the space above the national stadium, waiting patiently for the fireworks to start.

while we were eating dinner at a restaurant, i heard sun yan zi singing. i quickly rushed out to watch her 'live' on the big screen tv outside the indoor stadium. she looked really good in the gown. on my way back, i heard the deafening roars of the sky hawks and the 21 gun salute. the windows of the restaurant moved with each blast from the cannons. the atmosphere was good. a pity the fireworks were too short. think it lasted only 3 minutes.

we had coffee at cosy bay. really envy those rich people who can afford condos in tanjong rhu. the place is sooo nice and it faces the river. moreover come national day, can watch fireworks from the comfort of their homes. the crowd around the national stadium dispersed quite quickly once the parade was over.

the tune from this yr's ndp "we'll get there" is still in my head.......some more it's sung by my fave singer....sun yan zi!
