tokyo, here i come

got an email from my gm that i would be one of the 3 pple selected to go japan for auto saloon 2006. heehee...so excited! it would be my first trip to japan. heard the weather's terribly cold. time to revise my jap, buy new winter clothes and save up for my trip there.

didn't expect to be chosen since i've not been confirmed yet. however, gm wanted me to go to gain some experience. heehee...anyway, hope it's really confirmed! it would be somewhere in mid jan...

in memory of patch

my fave mouse has died around 6.30pm today. yesterday night he was behaving oddly, breathing very hard and even allowed me to stroke its fur. i knew something must be wrong else he's quite jumpy and active. i'm not sure of he contracted some disease or it's due to loneliness (his buddy died in mid nov this yr).

feeling sad...but i guess with such a small pet, i dun feel that much emotions. now i'm looking around pet shops which sell mice. pls let me know if you spot any. thanks.

big big hole in pocket

been shopping since friday! friday was madness...took off and went shopping with 2 frens. shopped in orchard, marina sq and raffles city. no time to go suntec! raffles city was opened till midnight and there were lotsa bargains from 8pm-12midnight. really shiok!!

i didn't buy as many things as i expected coz i dun hv the $$. my new co doesn't give out 13th month bonus...so i can't afford to overspend! so sad...:(

my legs were aching really badly when i got home around 2am that night. had to massage them before going to sleep else i would end up with a sleepless night.

yesterday went shopping again but didn't buy much. the crowd was 10 times more maddening than friday's crowd. everyone's out in town to soak in the xmas mood and to get presents. very fun!

i'm almost done with my xmas shopping. short of 2 presents.

getting into the xmas mood

been in town since fri till today. bought the presents i set out to get and my sis helped in wrapping them. (i'm disasterous when it comes to wrapping presents) the presents are sitting nicely in various plastic bags, waiting for xmas to draw near.

town is packed full of people doing xmas shopping, pple admiring the xmas lightings, pple just going there to soak up the atmosphere. so fun to get presents!! too bad i'm running low on cash, else i would hv ended up with bags and bags of goodies. :P

this coming wkend, i'll be off to sunway lagoon for a co driveaway trip. the response from customers is simply pathetic. supposedly they can't find out why the annual response is soo poor. for me, i think it's due to pricing. anyway, for me it's a free trip and i've never been to sunway lagoon before. hopefully it's fun and interesting. some pple tell me it's boring, some say there's lots of shopping to be done. we shall see....
