short break
took a short break early part of august and went to bangkok. went with 1 of my colleague for a business trip but we extended 3 more days there over the weekend. so happens national day fell on wed so we took an extra day's leave to rest after our trip.
bought tons of stuff from bangkok, including an additional doraemon trolley bag! hahaha...got the usual food stuff like pork floss and dog shit to distribute among some frens and relatives. it's my first time in thailand and i enjoyed myself a lot. didn't take many photos as i was too busy shopping. most of my time was spent indoors so i didn't get much of a tan even though it was quite hot there.
had the company's 7th month dinner on friday. the food was good and the "goodie bag" was even better! there was a can of abalone in it. we had to pay $40 per person to get the goodie bag and dinner. dinner was stumptous comprising of things like lobster salad, buddha jumps over the wall, abalone with veggies..etc. delicious! of coz the company of my closer colleagues make the occasion fun!
