embracing the spirit of competition

beginning to get the hang of work in my new place. getting to know some of my colleagues better as well. hving lunches with them. work can be quite hectic and most of the time i've to stay back late to clear stuff. but to me, it's still quite fun and hopefully the fun factor won't fizzle out.

gonna hv my jap e2 test this wkend. hv doubts about passing. been trying to study over the whole week whenever i get home from work. no mood but must force myself to study. i often wonder i put myself thru such torture. then again, it would be very useful in my job. guess it's a stage to get thru with it and once i master the language, i should be fine. just hv to put in more effort. hopefully the test is easy coz i really really don't hv much confidence in it.

can't get this song out of my head....the scenes from the jap drama serial PRIDE (starring takuya kimura and yuko takeuchi)keep on replaying in my head. even tho i've finished watching the serial around 3 weeks back, i would still wanna rewatch it again. the story's short and sweet. the cheeky male lead, the shy female lead, the comical yet intense love scenes, the fast paced ice hockey scenes....

back in action

was out of action for some time as my pc went cranky. after much investigation, seems like there's really nothing wrong with it. technology...sigh....

some updates: i'm doing pretty fine in my new job @ cnc. work's piling up really fast and i've got to pick things up in lightning speed. they basically just throw thing at u and u've to learn to handle it as well as u can. it's a very different environment as compared to logistics. there seems to be no structure at all!! they spend a lot of time talking crap, end up wasting lotsa time. then again, the perks are having free meals @ restaurants and long long lunch breaks. it's also not a desk bound job so i get to run here and there. well, guess after a while, i'll get to use the co's cars to go about official matters during office hours. :)

the best thing is....i managed to lose a bit of weight in this new job. hahahaa..dunno is it the irregular lunch hours or whatever reason. must keep it up and continue to lose more weight!

got 2 upcoming road shows in nov. gonna be pretty hectic since i've got to be there personally to help out. it's fun...i'm not complaining. just hectic i guess...with all the preparation going on.

intending to get myself either an ipod or a creative zen micro coz it gets really boring on public transport. shall see how it goes... ...
