yesterday i wanted to go out to shoot but ended up with nothing. can't think of a place to go, dunno wat to shoot. didn't want to shoot aimlessly for the sake of shooting. over the past few weekends when i go out, i usually pack my bag almost to the brim to "train" my shoulder for the upcoming US trip. my bag would my canon s3, my archos 604 pmp, mobile phone and sometimes my nintendo ds. tho the items may seem small, they do weigh a bit when put together, especially my cam.

at times when i see youngsters bringing their laptops out, i wonder if their arms or shoulders feel tired. once i brought my office laptop out after work, my shoulder nearly broke off. perhaps i rarely exercise and am not used to the weight.

still hv not found a suitable bag to stuff everything in nicely. need to cater a space for personal items like passport and impt docs when going overseas. in 2 mind about buying a new bag coz it might be a waste of $$. my 2 day extension in LA has been confirmed by the tour agency. hv to start looking for a roof over my head before planning on what to do during those 2 days.

once again it's the usual monday blues sinking in. tmr i'm going to terminate 1 of my staff due to misconduct and bad attitude. was busy gathering evidence over the last week to justify the termination. a bit worried coz he's the ah beng type. dunno how he would react.

anyway, fri nite i ported all my flickr photos onto webshots. i don't like the limitation of flickr's free account. it's free account only allows 3 albums, something which is very restrictive. so it's back to the old time fave webshots where i can maintain up to 1000 photos in a free account and have as many albums as i want.

kinda tempted to buy a point and shoot camera to complement my canon s3. tempted is the word coz i'm too poor to buy anything now due to my upcoming US trip. it's just in my dreams. perhaps one day when i finally upgrade to a DSLR, i'll get a compact pns so that it's easier to bring out. currently i can borrow my sis's new panasonic fx 30. quite a good compact, worth buying.

shall concentrate on uploading some photos onto my webshots account to put my mind off tmr's dreaded day.

on my way to US

yeah yeah, i've booked my US trip over the weekend with Chan bros. going to US on 17th nov for 11 days (technically 9days due to time difference). Would be going on reverse itinerary, that means i'll be in SFO then Las vegas and finally LA. my fren and i would be extending for another 2 more nites in LA but as of now, it's subjected to airline approval.

went to the orchard lib to pick up 1 Los angeles travel guide book. time to start doing some homework if we are indeed extending. so excited! heehee...something to look forward.

over the weekend was the comex fair and i've finally bought my pmp! got big big hole in my pocket over the weekend after paying for pmp and deposit for tour. *ouch* the $$ i've been saving over the past few months just wiped out in an instant. so sad... but nevermind, it's for an experience and fun! heehee....
