end of may

my my, it's the last day of may! (which happens to be vesak day, a public holiday). soon half the year would have gone by.

lately been reading lotsa comic books instead of playing my DS. it's kinda like a phase. i seem to have gotten a bit sick of the DS after playing non stop for the past few weeks. so it's back to reading comic books again.

can sense that work pressure is going to go up pretty soon as we're all tasked to different aspects of an upcoming car launch. can't reveal much online as it's a very hush hush affair. all i can say is, it's going to a tough 3 months ahead. wonder if i can still go for my genting trip in mid june. heehee...

been lucky & unlucky

lucky:
(1) i betted on my carpark summon number and it came out in consolation last sat.i didn't realise it until my colleague told me.luckily i didn't throw the ticket away. won $3.

(2) managed to battle thru the elite 4 and the pokemon champion in the pokemon league with most of my pokemon 'fainted' at the last round. finally completed the game and achieve pokemon league champion status! now onto the rest of the postgame activities such as getting the national dex and going to resort area for more battles. later on going to buy a new game called chocobu tales. it's RPG but in a storybook style. all reviews of the game are very good and the graphics are very cute too!

unlucky:
(1) wanted to buy 4D on my carpark summon on wed but we didn't eat near any 4D store so i didn't bother to ask anyone to buy for me. turns out the number came out in 3rd prize. would have won $20.

(2) my carpark summon waive didn't get thru so i'm poorer by $50.if only i had won that 3rd prize, it would have helped to relief the pain in my pocket.

a ticket?

kena a parking ticket for parking in a season parking lot at my fren's house.i was there for less than 10mins! it's not my first time parking at that carpark. just blame it on luck. prob not very 'heng' today since it's the 1st day of 'auntie' also.

askin my fren (who used to work at URA carpark division) on how to write an appeal letter. the malay parking attendant happily told me he cannot cancel what he has entered into the computer. however, he was nice enough to write on the ticket that i approached him within 2mins of getting the ticket. hopefully that's good enough to get me an appeal.

shucks man, really parked many times but nothing happened. just not my day i suppose.cross fingers and hope appeal goes thru.

my 1st 4D win!

my colleague sms me abt my winning 4D number. the number was obtained from the birthday cake which the department bought for 2 of my colleagues for their celebration on friday. my sales reps spotted a lucky number '2383' on the cake and encouraged everyone to buy. out of fun, i just bought $1 big straight and $1 big ibet for both sat and sun.

lucky star shine on me...3328 was the number that came out in consolation prize. i only won $5 but it's a good start to more wins in 4D! heehee....it's my first 4D win since i start buying 4D last yr. i don't buy 4D often. it's only once in a blue moon or when i get a 'lucky' feeling.

health checkup

AHH!! tmr morning is my health checkup...i'm very scared! all becoz of a terrible experience at jurong polyclinic with an inexperienced nurse. she pricked my arm several times to draw blood! aahhhhhh....since then, i'm very afraid of needles and blood. tmr hv to draw 1 test tube of blood, i hope i dun cry or peng shan.

just now had a co function so ate quite a bit for dinner.after 8pm had to stop eating coz need to fast for 12hrs before the checkup. hopefully it would be quite fast coz i've got tons of work piled up on my desk. as usual my boss loves to throw stuff at me last min (coz she's rushing off for a long trip on sun nite) and expects me to magically come up with the solution within a tight timeframe.

sometimes i wonder if it's becoz i'm inefficient at my work that i alwiz hv to work sooooo late everyday, or is the workload just a bit too much? it's hard to compare with my peers at work coz we handle quite different areas of marketing.

anyway, i've got my NDS to relief my stress. been playing my pokemon diamond almost nonstop esp on wkends. from morning till late at night, from fully charged till almost flat. that's how addictive pokemon diamond is! hahaha....u cannot imagine till you've played that game. i'm almost 40hrs into that game eversince i bought it. 2 more gym badges for me to collect...need to train up my pokemons for the big fight soon.
