big feet

just coz i'm fat doesn't mean i got big feet.

the story goes... i was looking around for a pair of sandals to replace my worn out nikes. found a suitable pair at fila and it was having a clearance sale. i asked for my size and guessed a 6. the guy told me...maybe a 7 would be better. so i asked if it's due to the smaller cutting, he said yes. while he was looking for size 7, i tried on the display sandal and it fitted me perfectly! i walked towards him, asking him for the size of the display sandal. turned out to be 5! he gave me a very shocked look but proceeded to hunt for size 5.

when i was trying on the right foot, he merely stared at me. HELLO! when we buy shoes/sandals/slippers, we need to try both feet, not 1 foot! i had to ask for my left sandal before he passed it to me. goodness! *shakes head*

after walking a few steps in the store, i decided they're fine and bought them. therefore, pls don't conclude that fat people have small feet.

fruitful sunday

met up with a fellow forumer from clubsnap today to shoot at east coast and vivocity. woke up early in the morning and parked at my colleague's place. went east coast to take a look at the national karting challenge and spca's paws at the beach.

the national karting challenge was a let down coz there wasn't a crowd. luckily we didn't participate as main sponsor nor did we set up a booth at the event. i didn't managed to see the go kart race as it was delayed due to a drizzle. saw some drifting tho.

at the spca event, there was a water spout at the sea which caught most of our attention instead. it was amazing just looking at the natural phenomemon in real life! as it came nearer and nearer to the beach, winds picked up and we could feel the rain coming in very heavily. next moment, there was heavy downpour and people were rushing towards shelters or their cars.

dropped my forum fren off at the mrt while my colleague and i had coffee. after that,i went home for a quick shower before meeting her at vivocity. she's using a nikon D40 DSLR and my canon s3 looked small beside hers. haha...anyway, it's the interest that binds us together. we took a number of photos on the 3rd level of vivo, including sunset. not too bad but my night shots didn't turn out well even tho my cam was mounted on a tripod.

well, learnt a bit from her. next time we'll prob meet up again since we stay quite near each other. haha! fun and fruitful day indeed....
