got home from my company's 21st birthday dinner and dance on board falcon princess cruise an hour ago. it's a small ship so we were swaying left and right when we went out to kusu island, where the waters are more choppy. luckily i had two temp staff to accompany me or i would be bored to death. i dunno most of the pple there and my dept was scattered everywhere. it's casual dressing so most came in jeans and tee. some even wore 3/4 pants and hawaiian tees.

food was not very fantastic. din get the chance to eat the birthday cake. had a great time laughing at my colleague was who saboed to play a game. it was very hilarious indeed!!! some action games lar. won a metro $50 shopping voucher in a special lucky draw. didn't managed to win any air tickets in the bonus draw...so sad! luck not on my side.

i can still feel myself swaying/bobbing up and down as i type. think it's the after effects of that cruise. it ended around 11pm and i managed to catch a bus home from wtc. shall watch a little tv and rest.........

such a tiring day at work. as usual, i'm only informed of at the last min that i had to stay back for duty. hopefully by next month, their duty roster would include my name so that i would be more prepared.

work aside, lee hom (a ABC singer who's quite hot in asia) has arrived in spore this afternoon. he's in spore to promote his concert in oct. i would be going with a fren to watch the concert. it's my first time watching a concert performed by a singer. tot it would be a good opportunity to experience since i quite like his songs. the other time i watched a concert was by kenny g.

sometimes i really cannot understand parents.........they seem to be too 'free' and like to pick an argument for seemingly no big deal. just sitting at home quietly also get into trouble......*scratches head* and i wonder why.....

it's a very shitty day..........I HATE IT!

i miss teaching....the feeling just came to me yesterday on my way home on the mrt. it's a long ride home.....at least 1.5 hours, so i took the time to think and reflect. i kinda miss teaching....perhaps it's the frens i made at juying, the familiar surroundings and the kids. it's very different from my working environment now. fortunately, most of my colleagues are quite nice. there's a dinner and dance coming up two sats down....it's a cruise round spore's islands. i hope i dun feel out of place there.

rare that i'm home so early......i decided to leave almost on the dot....was too tired to stare at the computer screen for the whole day. yah yah, i noe some of you might be thinking....then wat am i doing now? i'm not gonna stay online for long anyway...just to leave a blog and check my emails.

LOVE.....i can almost safely assume that most girls would want it.....it's a matter of getting it from the right person. however, most cases, heavens are unfair or it simply likes to make a fool of some people. it's a really warm feeling when u're love but you'll be in utter hell when u're out of it. some take it smoothly, some don't. probably you're wondering what in the world am i blabbering about? dun worry, it's not about me. sad to say.....doubt i would ever hv a chance of falling into a deep passionate romance. hahaa..like in the movies. think i watched too many jap/ korean dramas liao. :P

attended my cousin's wedding dinner on thurs at the oriental hotel. lotsa relatives and friends. tot it would be a apretty boring affair.....but my cousin's friends came up with a whole lot of tricks to "punish" him as he and his bride went around the tables to take photos with guests. tricks such as asking the bride to push a raw egg from his trouser leg up to his waist beneath his pants without cracking it...and the egg must be near the groin area. goodness! but at least it liven up the whole wedding with cheers and boos from his friends.

yseterday was my off day....felt so relaxed not having to wake up early on a sat. gave tuition in the noon and rotted the night away watching a korean drama "beautiful days". my friend recommended me to watch and lent me the vcds. so far, it has been yet another all tears drama but the storyline seems quite interesting. channel u is finally showing "winter sonata" on tv!!! kudos to them!! it's a great drama.....so do catch it if u can. it's on sat nights at 11pm...i noe most pple would be out of the house but it's one drama that's worth taping.

tml's monday again....can feel the blues coming. hopefully i can to practise wat i've learnt so far. the mgr is too busy to teach me anything. eversince i started work, i wish for time to fly by...esp during the weekdays.....so that i can finally take a break over the weekend. phew!

mid autumn fest is here again! the actual day is on the coming sat. get to eat my fave snow skin mooncake!! yum yum....:P~~ it also brings back memories of my days in perth....where we brought lanterns and candles from spore and we carried it over in perth. so fun! it's a totally different atmosphere. enjoyable indeed......:)

today had to stay back a little while to finish up my work. suddenly quite a number of bookings came in. the manager brought me to the warehouse and it was an eye opener for me. interesting to see how cargo is being repacked onto the airline pallet and how the whole process of supply chain works. it's pretty much the same as in textbooks but the amount of work that goes into moving a single pallet is amazing!!

also discovered that 2 spore factories produced the clothes for the famous american brand "gap". a pity they cannot sell it in spore...wat an irony sometimes. even clothes like disney clothing is also all produced in spore and shipped to US to sell. so next time u're shopping in US, do take note of the "made in" tag. it might just be Singapore.

just a short note....my eyes are fast closing......
go watch the new musical fountain at sentosa....it's great!! a much more improved version of the old program. there are more laser images and some of them are so lifelike!! fireballs are introduced in the new program for musical fountain, and boy, u can really feel the heat from the audience's seats! fun fun fun............go watch!

got home from work not too long ago.......this is my 2nd day at work....quite boring as it's all the dry stuff that i've to absorb. waiting for time to go by. well, better cherish my days of going home at 5.30pm coz when the actual work starts, think my earliest time to go home would be at least 8pm++.

arrived at my work place very very early today as i had to "book" a parking lot by the changi beach. lots of kiasu drivers arrive around 7am+ and by 7.40am, the 4 car parks were full. it's terrible..... then i had to catch a bus into the cargo complex where i'm working. went to the canteen for a quick breakfast and proceeded to my office. everyone strolled in late....think most of them worked overtime till late. the closing time is coming and everyone is in a rush. phew! i really hope i can take the stress.....!!

whoa! the screaming crowd at plaza singapura this evening was OVERWHELMING!!!! loads of people were there to support one of the F4 members Vanness Wu. It's the first time i've seen such a HUGE crowd....!!! it's really scary.....some of them even started queuing up since last night to be the 1st in line for him to sign his album sleeve. many security guards were around to control the crowd. the screams were ear piercing indeed.....most people cannot take photos coz there were far too many people!! u had to be there really early in order to get a good spot.

was there in the early afternoon to catch my movie "lilo and stitch". it's a nice family oriented show......quite funny too. at that time, i oredi see many people queuing up to get in line for the autograph signing session. the crowd swelled to thousands by late afternoon....the queue was soooooo long until it went thru the underpass till the istana park. amazing........ everyone was squeezing for the best place to see their star......he signed for more than 2 hours!! admire his strength......

phew.....need to take my breath.....dun be mistaken.....i dun support F4....i accompanied my sister there....need a break for my achings legs...........

my last day at school wasn't a good one...the kids made me very angry and rather upset. their former teacher came back...and all the attention was on him. well, it's understandable that they would miss him a lot....but then, they messed up the damn classroom over and over again. a few of the girls helped me in sweeping up the mess....then those pple who were chasing the teacher (as if he were a film star) messed it all up again with coloured streamers and balloons. i was sooooo ultra fed up! they didn't wanted to take any photos either..... and to think i like that class the most.

haiz....kids..... besides that, i've been shopping. dun be mistaken...it's not that i'm rich or something, just that i need to get some proper work clothes for my work as i'm starting on wed. bought myself a new pair of shoes yesterday. think i hv enough clothes to last me quite a while....kinda worried abt starting the new job. hopefully i can manage it well........
