jap anime crazy

lately been watching lotsa jap anime. finished love hina (including all the specials) supposed to study for my upcoming JLPT4 exam this coming sun but no absolutely no mood! i'm dead meat, dun feel like travelling all the way to changi for the exam at all. waste of time and effort. luckily it's only $21.

currently watching prince of tennis. i noe it's not a new anime but i heard the ratings in japan for this anime were very high. true enough, it's quite addictive, kinda reminds me of slam dunk. i had to pry myself away from my pc in order to give my eyes a break from watching too many episodes. thanks to the invention of youtube. hopefully someone somewhere out there has uploaded the whole series. :)

ouch!

HK trip was fun but too bad the time was too short.didn't manage to buy lotsa stuff but walked till legs break. the trip was marred by a huge 'pimple' on my back which burst and caused lotsa pus and blood to ooze out.

turned out that it's an abcess (duno the actual spelling). basically it's a huge pimple that was worsen by infection. went to see a doc today and was refered to another branch for a minor op. can feel the pain at the wound. according to the doc, it's very bad and the wound is quite deep. they dug a big hole and left it open. of coz it's covered up with dressing. i'm supposed to go back to the clinic daily to change my dressing. shucks!!

tmr must take blood test just in case. i'm the most afraid of blood test! aaarrgghh!

off to HK!

will be spending my next 3 days in HK with my colleagues from sales and marketing. annually, there would be a sales conference and it would be held overseas. this yr it's in HK. too bad i cannot extend stay as i've got jap visitors coming on thur and fri. wat a waste!

it's my first time in hk and i dunno wat to expect. most people tell me the shopping's good and the food is nice. hopefully i'll get a chance to shop since i doubt i got any time left for sight seeing.

been spending my last few days watching the jap anime 'love hina' on youtube. youtube's great! just that the screen is too small. bought a few DS games as well, feeling so dead broke.

gotta continue packing my luggage. update some stuff after my trip. :)

insanity @ work is back...

as expected, the insanity at work started once i got back to work at the start of the week. things were piling up on my desk and my boss loaded me with tons of things to do. luckily the treasure hunt is postponed to early next yr, else i wonder how i'm going to cope.

everyone in the office seems to be coughing like crazy. must be the germs being passed from one person to the other. a temp staff joined us at the start of the week. been loading him things to do. a bit odd for him to join us during lunch coz we can't seem to find common topics to talk about. perhaps he's still new la, need to warm up a bit more. hahaha.... quite a soft spoken guy but smokes very heavily.

next mon-wed i'll be in hong kong for sales conference. gotta rush all my stuff by end of this week and pass some stuff for the temp guy to do. if he has nothing to do, we'll prob ask him not to come to work as the whole dept and office would be empty. almost everyone's going for the HK trip. hopefully it's not too cold at HK. will blog abt HK when i get back next week...

back to reality

arrived in spore on wed at around 2pm. back to reality time...luckily i took leave all of this week. i'll be back to work next monday. these 2 days must enjoy and rest. can imagine the amount of shit i'll hv to clear when i step into office.

taiwan is quite a nice place to visit. i like Hua Lian and Tan Shui the best. too bad it's a packaged tour so some places we didn't have much time to hang around. for the night markets, we're only given an hour. practically no time to shop. we hardly bought stuff from taiwan except for food.

i like the night market's food. rather resonably priced and tastes good! spore should hv a permanent night market located in the city. i'm sure locals and tourists would enjoy it a lot. ate a lot during the last few days as it was when we were brought to the night markets. took a number of photos and am busy uploading them as i'm writing this blog.

prob the next time i go taiwan, i'll just spend my time in taipei and tan shui. shop around in the shopping malls and the night markets. :)
