whoa...it's a week past since the last entry. been kinda lazy to update my blog. just wanna come home from work and stone the night away. it's a good feeling to stone once in a while. was in a "stoning" mood on thurs nite....just lay on my bed and stared at the ceiling in a daze, somewhat dreaming. i seem to fele that things around me are slowing down.......not the usual rush we're going thru everyday.

been reading in the rain (http://www.intherain.org) quite regularly. i like the layout of the blog esp the photolog. intend to do something like that for my homepage. come to think of it...today's the last day of feb and it's march tml!! oh dear...no ideas for my new issue yet. gotta rack my brains......

yesterday on my way to work on the mrt train, one bi spectacled pimpled face lady plonked herself on my right. she nodded off almost instantly and kept nodding in my direction. i was rather uncomfortable so i shifted my weight. no response from her. still nodding towards me. i moved my shoulders a little....still no response from her. after bearing with it for 3 mrt stops, i almost wanted to give up my seat and stand for the rest of the journey. luckily i didn't...coz at bedok, she suddenly woke up, jumped up and popped out of the trani as if she were wide awake. wah lau.....really cannot stand such pple. tsk tsk....not 'automatic'.

had an ultra long and tiring day at work. looks like the days of me going home early are gonna be gone soon. one surprising discovery: yesterday morning, 2 new colleagues from sales admin dept came to our airport office for training. one of them turns out to be my 1st 3 months jc classmate!! the world is soo small. he couldn't really recognise me and i don't blame him (afterall i did grow horizontally and have long hair now). my mgr attached him to me for morning training on how we process the shipments. haha...was fun. but my fingers were shaking when i was keying the first few entries as i was kena nervous and excited. :-) well, looks like i got many more opportunities to work with him next time!

rushed off from office today to avoid the coming dark rain clouds. hv been raining for the past few evenings. luckily managed to avoid getting drenched by the time i arrived home. at least it's cooling and would be nice to sleep....zzz

got a fren who's going to dallas for training. good luck and take care fren! bring some willy wonka chocolates for me!

a new girl came today.....an indian lady...we joked about letting her handle all the indian shipments...since she speaks their language...hahahaha....

had lotsa work to clear today..worked till almost 8pm. phew!! tml will be another typical busy day for me in the office. haiz....

had a round of food at aunt's house in the late afternoon. it's another mini gathering at her place in view of the 15 day long chinese new year celebrations. very filling now.....:P

i must say i've had a good break from work even tho i didn't travel out of spore. did a number of things, ran my errands and met up with friends. now i dread as tomorrow approaches as i've to drag myself to work. it's the same old routine stuff again. cannot imagine the workload that's gonna be piled up on my desk when i get back tomorrow. i'm having thurs blues.....so sad!!!

had dinner with a couple of friends at chijmes yesterday evening. had fun chatting and being entertained by some of them in the group. my long weekend has started...must come up with plans to fully occupy my time so that i won't waste it. hiak hiak.

was reading my friend's blog about him planning to go on a road trip. how i envy him...i dun have the energy and guts to go on such a long road trip from perth to mel to syd. it's also very tiring i guess. i hope his plans can come true.... ! am planning to go visit mel again if i get the chance.

chinese new year has been spent eating and drinking almost non stop. had great fun at my grandma's house. all my cousins and relatives were there...and we visited a newly wed cousin's new house. collected 4 extra red packets this yr...2 from newly wed cousins, 2 from my bosses at work. heehee....my bosses quite generous....$10 each. :)

quite excited about this coming weekend...afterall it's an ultra long one for me as i'm on leave till thurs! heehee...need a break lar...and shun bian clear my leave. planned some activities over the weekend. coming up with a list of things to do over my 2 days leave. not intending to go anywhere for a short hol.....no kakis to go along and also not very save to go places like bintan, msia by myself due to recent tensed political relations.

yesterday decided to get myself a new comic to read. been controlling my urge to read a comic for a long long time liao. it has been my hobby and i enjoy it a lot. like to admire the graphics and the way the characters are drawn. the storylines are rather interesting with suspense and highs & lows. not many people appreciate the way the comics are drawn.....i feel it's quite a sad thing, considering the amt of effort put in by the illustrator. the next time you read a comic, be it in the newspapers or comic books, take a step back and think about the creative juices that went into that strip or story.
