my pet long hair syrian hamster has departed for the heavens this morning. last nite he was having some breathing difficulties and i suspected his end is coming soon. i guess he almost lived out his full age of 2 yrs. (understand that the lifespan of hamsters is around 2 yrs)
i hope he had a good time under my care, tho sad to admit that in the past few months, i didn't play with him as much as i did when he first came. nonetheless, he's a fun pet to have and i enjoyed having him around.
meanwhile, i doubt i would rear any small animals for the time being.
