today's total madness in the office. the phones were ringing nonstop after lunch. everyone was kepy very busy and there were several who had black faces due to problems with shipments or irritating customers. well, that's part of the job and we'll just have to bear with it. fortunately tml's a holiday....can take a short break from the insanity at work.

posted some new photos online 2 days ago. feeling quite excited abt taking new ones. think i better charge the other battery in case the current one runs flat. it's quite fun to bring ur digi cam around to take photos. there's no need to worry abt wastage and the best thing is i can view the photos i've just taken. so shiok !! would recommend pple to get one digi cam, even if it's for fun. i think it's quite a good investment. dun hv to get those ex ones...those 2 or 3 pixels will do the job just fine since most of the time you'll be developing 4R photos. personally i recommend canon and olympus.

went to take night shots of the merlion, esplanade and fullerton but all turned out HORRIBLY!! why? coz i used the night scene function of my digital camera but i didn't use a tripod. for that function, it takes a longer time for the camera to absorb whatever surrounding light and process the scene. therefore, if arms are shakey, it'll affect the photo. i tried putting the cam on books but it doesn't help.

lotsa pple are out on the streets despite the widespread SARS outbreak. many pple at the merlion park & esplanade were armed with digital cameras and tripods, happily snapping away. couples were busy looking lovingly into each other's eyes and hugging away, groups of teenagers gathering around for chat, families taking a stroll along the riverside, small groups of pple doing break dances to hip hop music......quite crowded actually.

my friend was telling me that cinemas are still quite crowded on weekends. think most of the youngsters are not afraid of SARS. for us, it's will get mean will get one (to put in Singlish). hmmm....talking about movies, my long awaited x-men 2 is coming out next week! yeah....anyone interested in watching it with me?? :D

tot of putting up a wish list on my blog (too bad my birthday's over). shall try to figure out the html coding. i'm rather bad at it as i've not touched html for some time. moreover i'm not very familiar with scripts. prob something i can look into over the weekend since i'm most prob staying in due to SARS. self quarantine...haiz.

saw an ad for the lomo action camera...seen the real one before. seems quite fun ! falling in love with the canon ixus 400. it's kinda like my dream camera at the moment. not that i dun like my current one...but it's no harm dreaming of getting another right? hahaha......

finally the gameboy advance SP is out in stores!! goody goody....makes me even more tempted to get it! the reviews for it are better than gameboy advance. hopefully the games are not too ex.

oh dear, suddenly i seem to have so many things to buy...........money is never enough......:P

the spread of SARS seems to be getting worse, esp "thanks" to some inconsiderate people who defy the rules. in fact, there're many more news about SARS than anything else (including the iraq war). all DEPRESSING news............nothing else but that. when will the goods news ever come??

had a good long weekend so far. my partner (at work) changed sat off with me...so i din have to gobakc to work yesterday. slept till late as i was home rather late the night before.

thinking of taking up some courses or lessons......doing something more constructive. need to do more exercise too, feel that i'm getting fatter and fatter each day. feels so awful. must find some form of motivation for me to exercise. otherwise i'll end up coming up with 1001 excuses on why i shouldn't be exercising. terrible eh??

thankfully this week is short becoz of good fri holiday. i feel so burnt out even tho there's not much freight. perhaps it's the numerous problems i'm facing at work that's really making it such a chore to go to work. i feel so physically and mentally tired out. dunno y.........

sars doesn't seem to be a deterrent to young people and the working class. it's still quite crowded on the weekends. catched a movie last nite and it was fully packed ! tho there seems to be lesser people on the streets than usual......but certain places like the cinemas and pools places still draw the crowd.

very exhausted today...been out late for 3 consecutive nights. yesterday was busy shifting to my new office. tml hv to go early to test out the server and power load. hopefully everything works well. new office feels quite suffocating due to the low ceilings and high partitions. moreover we've to walk quite a distance to get to our office. hope to get my parking lot there soon....then it would save me a lot of trouble and time.

HOORAY!!!! IT'S MY BIG DAY TODAY!!!! I WISH MYSELF ALL THE BEST AND MAY I ENJOY A HAPPY & MEMORABLE DAY !!! :)

got myself a yr's subscription to newsweek and it comes with a free one yr subscription to women's weekly magazine. kinda like killing two birds with one stone. went to muji at bugis to check out the newly opened store. bought myself two pens...i like their stationery a lot. gonna go back to buy more when i finish using these 2. streets are less crowded than usual. can't find the hand gel i wanted at watsons. apparently it's sold out due to the sars outbreak.

pple often comment that i look serious or that i have a serious outlook towards life. however, most of the time, that's not very true. closer friends will know that i often talk crap and joke around. perhaps its just my face....i look quite serious/proud when i do not smile. well,u can't expect me to smile all the time either else people will think i'm a nut case. anyway, i dunno wat nonsense i'm talking abt now......i just feel like blabbering...it's my blog anyway.who cares?!

dreamt of my grandma this morning. it seemed so real. i could feel her hand reaching out to me....her touch....then it was time to wake up as my mum was slapping my feet.

hv not got around to post my photos online. prob post them in webshots first....just don't feel like starting out on my homepage. dunno why...guess it's the mood.

famous hong kong star leslie cheung died last evening. he committed suicide by jumping off a hotel window. everyone was shocked. it seemed he had emotional problems (with his boyfriend) and he also had some medical problems. whatever the reason is, no one will know. he left a short suicide note in the hotel. fans have been paying their tribute to the famous hong kong star. i guess it's just too sudden.

recently there've been a spate of bad news.....iraq war, SARS, suicides....what next??
