start of the month end ......gonna get real busy and will be staying late in office. haiz...luckily it only comes once a month. however, next month would be financial yr close so i suspect this month would be quite hectic as well. hv to just take it as it comes.

my room is all cleaned up (except for things on my shelves and in my wardrobe). it looks quite spacious. been enjoying my newly bought micro dvd hifi set. it has alwiz been my wish to get my own room........then i can decorate it in whatever way i want. my room has a tv set as well....and i got my own bedside table with lamp so that i can read in bed. oh...so cosy! now...if only the weather in spore would resemble perth, then it would be almost perfect!!

had my dept dinner this evening (friday). supposed to be a team building time and a chance for the new pple to mingle with the existing staff...but as usual, it turned out otherwise. the old staff all cliqued together like glue. as expected i'm the only one from program team that's not sitting with the rest of the program exec. the rest of them are old staff. but i dun mind the pple at the table. mostly new pple and i had a good time getting to know them.

listening to britney spear's "everytime" , usher's "yeah!" and kelly clarkson's "a moment like this" on repeat mode. i also put those songs on repeat modes when i'm out listening to my mp3 player. kelly's song was featured for the recent channel 5 athen olympics promo trailer. suitable and meaningful for the olympics. it goes "A moment like this Some people wait a lifetimefor a moment like this"

will be getting a new bedside table, a stool and a table lamp for my new room tmr @ ikea. finally getting my own room after 20+ yrs (shall not reveal my age!) shall be busy clearing stuff to get ready for the move on tues. :)

i'm so touched that my syd fren called me up for a chat. we chatted for slightly more than an hr even tho it was past midnight at her side and that she was having a cough. kd, xie xie ni!! a big *hugz* all the way from spore to u!!! take care of ur cough.

been busy clearing up my stuff to pack them into cupboards. this is the after effects of renovation. sorting my stuff out ... some to give to salvation army while others are thrown away. good chance to clear my rubbish and start afresh.

came across a small box which contains name cards of restaurants in PERTH. really miss oz soo much now....esp after chatting with my syd fren. sigh...how i wish i can go back there again for a short break. pity my annual leave is so little and i dun hv $$$$$ !! still waiting for valuair to fly to perth...that i can enjoy cheap air fares!
