tabloid tokyo 2

today seems like a mini shopping spree for me. went to Plaza Sing to pick up my original S3 leather case (coz it was out of stock when I bought my cam). sadly the design sucks and it doesn't come with a strap. it's those belt clip type which I believe is not very convenient for any photographer since the cam weighs around 0.5kg with batteries loaded. dumb design.

bought a new book entitled tabloid tokyo 2. i've got part 1 and it's very fun to read. basically the authors picked out interesting and often sensationalised news snippets from various japanese weeklies and compiled them into a book.

got myself a new cd 'mambo jambo the phenomenon 2007'. i bought the older mambo jambo cd earlier on but somehow or other i've lost it. hopefully this remix is good, shall listen to it later on.

almost bought a doraemon bag which I intend to use as a laptop bag. after thinking thru, decided to save my $$ instead. didn't managed to find my brown bag or any nice tops for work. there were sales going on in various brands and department stores. none seemed attractive to me.

Harry Potter Mania

watched harry potter and the order of the phoenix at vivocity on sat nite.ultra long show (2hrs 20mins) and it wasn't as good as the previous ones. very dark throughout the whole show and many parts from the original novel was cut.

bought the latest harry potter novel from pageone and they gave a free harry potter bag. there's also a lucky draw to win tickets to Britain. i'll just send it in and see my luck. :)

lately it has been a really mad rush in the office due to the upcoming new car launch. everyone's gearing up for it. there was last min changes in construction and it affected alot of people. luckily we managed to resolve it on friday. i really hope everything goes smoothly on that weekend.

utterly exhausted

just ended the media preview for my company's new car today. things didn't turn out very smoothly but we managed to get over it. the journalists turn out was extremely good! pleased with their response. 1 down, 1 launch event to go and that kinda concludes the major activities we have for this year. of coz there would be smaller scale activities on a monthly basis.

entertained the jap designer of the new car for dinner this evening. lately been working till late in the office due to upcoming events. keep reminding myself to drink more water and take more vitamin C esp since the flu bug seems to be going around. feeling quite drained, both physically and mentally. wish the big event would past soon and can finally take a break.

this sat would be attending a colleague's wedding dinner at conrad. apparently the roads around marina would be closed for NDP rehearsal. shucks! hope it's easy to park at conrad.
